Truck Driver / Terminal Team Member

Job Overview

Zeus Produce Inc. is seeking a full-time Driver / Terminal Team Member to support daily packing operations at the Ontario Food Terminal and complete produce deliveries throughout the Greater Toronto Area. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient handling, staging, and distribution of perishable products.

Key Responsibilities

Pack produce orders each morning at the Ontario Food Terminal according to company standards and food-safety procedures.
Load, secure, transport, and unload fresh produce during delivery routes.
Operate company delivery vehicles safely and in compliance with all transportation regulations.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
Assist the Driver Team Lead with routing, scheduling, and logistics coordination.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in all terminal and delivery areas.
Follow all Zeus Produce policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
Perform additional related duties as required.

Qualifications

Valid Ontario driver’s licence in good standing.
Ability to lift and handle boxes of produce throughout the shift.
Ability to work early-morning shifts at the Ontario Food Terminal.
Experience in delivery, warehouse, or produce environments is an asset.
Strong reliability, punctuality, and attention to safety and detail.

Cold Storage Lead

Duties:

Oversee cold storage operations including receiving, organizing, rotating, and staging produce.
Monitor temperature-controlled environments and ensure cold-chain compliance.
Perform produce quality checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
Direct warehouse staff working in cold storage areas.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
Assist with loading, unloading, and staging as required.
Perform additional related duties to support operational efficiency.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years cold-storage experience (mandatory).
Minimum 2 years produce-handling experience (mandatory).
Ability to work in refrigerated environments.
Ability to lift heavy items.
Strong reliability and attention to detail.
